IFFO’s 60th Annual Conference is finally here! Following two years of delays, we will be reuniting the marine ingredients and wider industries together in the fishing powerhouse of Peru and its wonderful capital Lima. This anniversary event will be taking a long-term look at global food security and the marine ingredients industry’s role as a steady supplier of highly nutritional ingredients. As always, the agenda will feature key players from across the industry, discussing market trends and wider opportunities and challenges that face the industry.
Discussions will start with a global panorama, addressing the complex challenges facing the global economy and the impacts on food production and distribution globally. The role of marine ingredients and blue foods within this will then be debated by business leaders across the value chain.
Following two years of unprecedented change, the ability to adapt and identify opportunities has been crucial to our success and we will now have a forum to address this. For market coverage, we have widened the scope beyond the traditional markets to give a broader view across the fishing and feed sectors. Both the countries and markets coverage will provide an unrivalled 360⁰ view of the marine ingredients industry.
Networking remains a key part of how our industry continues to operate and evolve. The pandemic highlighted even more the importance of networking and we look forward to once again being the connecting hub for our industry.
