CITY TOUR

This is a half day, morning tour. 

Meet at the lobby of the Corinthia Hotel

Familiar yourself with Lisbon by taking a walk from the hotel towards to the historical downtown, where you see for yourself a city that has more than one thousand years of history. Stroll down Liberdade Avenue and end up in Rossio Square, the main square in the historical downtown, home to beautiful, authentic restaurants. The Baixa, as it is locally known. From here, you can view the city from a height, and understand why Lisbon has been dubbed the City of Seven Hills. The tour will continue through the white limestone streets, until you reach Comercio Square, a beautiful square facing the Tagus River. Moving onto the commercial area of Chiado, the tour will pass by historical buildings dating back to the 18th century, now home to authentic and unique small shops. The tour will conclude with a tuk tuk trip back to the Corinthia Hotel.

Participants should wear comfortable footwear, as this mainly a walking tour. 

This tour is included for registered Family Members. 

However any delegate can also attend by purchasing a ticket (additional $70​​​​​​) when registering online for the conference.

WELCOME RECEPTION

IFFO is delighted to host the Welcome Reception of the Annual Conference 2024 at the Olivae Restaurant & Terrace, conveniently located on the ground floor of the Corinthia Hotel.  Join us at the reception and experience the wonderful local cuisine and beverages, whilst socialising with old and new friends. 

This event is open to all delegates and registered family members.

GALA DINNER

Pick up from and return to the Corinthia Hotel

The IFFO Annual Conference 2024 Gala Dinner will be held off-site at the beautiful and historic Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, a venue designed to leave a lasting impression. Located on the hillside of the Parque Eduardo VII, Pavilhão Carlos Lopes is a venue with impressive history dating back to the early 1920’s. As you approach the pavilion, you will be captivated by its beautiful Azulejos tiled exterior, which extends to the interior wings. Enjoy a short cocktail reception on the tiled terrace, before moving into the main hall for a 4-course dinner with entertainment. This truly remarkable building provides an authentic Portuguese experience to end the conference. Coaches have been arranged for the Gala Dinner and will depart from the rear entrance of the Corinthia Hotel (Ave. Josѐ Malhoa). Timings will be confirmed in due course.
