WELCOME FROM OUR DIRECTOR GENERAL

Sustainability is at the heart of the long-term prosperity of the marine ingredients industry. In Cape Town, we explored how our industry is ensuring the efficient use of these low carbon, regenerative but finite ingredients. In Miami, we will continue these discussions with a focus on sustainable fishing and the expectations that now face the industry, as well as the impacts and future social license. Carbon and environmental foot printing are key in ensuring that impacts of ingredients are both mapped and tracked, and we will have practical discussions on foot printing in both fishing and aquafeeds.

Our supply side market forum will provide dynamic updates across the leading regions and markets. Presentations will cover an in-depth analysis of the pig sector, agri-commodities, fish oil, fishmeal, algal oil, and omega-3 markets. Country and regional presentations will also provide coverage on Asia, Europe, South America and Africa. Outside all these fascinating discussions, we will also have plenty of networking opportunities, including our members’ meeting buffet dinner.
