The leading event for the marine ingredients industry is fast approaching, with IFFO’s Annual Conference once again reuniting the industry in Lisbon, Portugal. Held from 21st to 23rd October, this conference will provide a dynamic overview of market trends, discussing the diversifying sources and uses of marine ingredients, and fisheries management, alongside unrivalled networking opportunities.
To ensure that we continuously tailor our conference to our audience, we have amended our programme to provide more flexibility and networking opportunities, while maintaining insightful sessions featuring close to 30 speakers. With delegates coming from an expected 35 countries, we understand that your time for meetings is valuable. The conference programme will now have three condensed half day sessions, with a range of side events held in the afternoons, to provide more choice to our attendees. The programme has been carefully designed to present the market updates with challenges and opportunities, from across IFFO’s extensive network, along with a broadened scope to additional ingredients that are entering the feed markets.
The optional side events complement the programme, focusing on market access through certification with MarinTrust, the emerging EU regulations on mineral oil hydrocarbons in EPA and DHA omega-3 oils with GOED, and how fisheries management can contribute to improved food security with the Global Roundtable on Marine Ingredients.
