Providing unique market insights
Members receive a range of market reports on a weekly and monthly basis, providing a key management tool for the marine ingredients industry and its main players.
These reports are entirely based on a private "International Information Network" where then IFFO's put together this information, ensuring its credibility and then provide an in-depth analysis on the market conditions from an independently minded perspective. Covering 80 countries give the most comprehensive source of statistics on the production of fishmeal and oil, consumption, prices, competing proteins and oils, as well as information about land animals, farmed fish production, and feed production. With an office in China, IFFO also provides China market and trade reports. The IFFO members area gives members access to all historical reports as well as interactive infographics on key markets.

Import and regulatory information on China
Members receive China trade and market reports on a monthly basis. IFFO provides information on China import requirements and regulations.
IFFO China office offers a Licensing Application Assistance Service for MOA licensing (importing fishmeal and fish oil to China) to Producer Members (additional fees apply).

Membership cost and how to join
IFFO has three categories of membership: Producer, Premium Non-Producer and Non-Producer. Membership fees are paid in advance before joining.

Producer membership costs US$ 0.21/MT of fishmeal and fish oil produced during the previous calendar year, with a minimum annual fee of US$ 6,900 (effective from January 2025). |
For companies who do not produce fishmeal and fish oil but have a continuing interest in the marine ingredients industry. Premium members receive additional benefits (mentioned above). |
Applicants need a reference from a current IFFO member, sign our rights and duties, and complete the Non-Producer application form. | Premium Non-Producer: US$ 6,900 (effective from January 2025) per year. |
